Identifying and defining an organisation’s needs, recommending solutions, providing a clear marker against which to measure benefits and utilising tasks and techniques to solve problems and deliver value to stakeholders.

With the core fundamental of a project being the analysis, requirements and process, understanding these are the elements from which Dragonhead has evolved. Our Business Analysts demonstrate the ability to take a holistic view to understand a company’s processes and activities, and the skill in knowing which questions to ask, and how to extract the information necessary to remove the risk of assumptions.

Our analysis includes investigating business systems, elements of the organisation structures and staff development issues as well as current processes and IT systems in order to: 

• Identify and evaluate options for improving
• Ensuring the effective use of information systems in meeting the needs of the business.
• Creating and maintaining the business architecture
• Conducting feasibility studies
• Identifying new business opportunities
• Scoping and defining new business opportunities
• Business Process Mapping

We will adopt an Agile approach and use a multitude of techniques to collect the requirements including brainstorming, mind mapping, document analysis, focus groups, workshops, shadowing and user task analysis. We will then plan the requirements development process, determine which requirements are the highest priority for implementation, and manage the change.

We will ensure that stakeholders have a shared understanding of the requirements and how they will be implemented, the solution assessment and validation and our recommended business technique to best facilitate the change based on the requirements, individuals within the business impacted, culture and ways of working.

Will we support and coach Teams and Leaders to harness change. Great communications are vital to the success of any change initiative small or large and we will ensure that consistent, clear succinct messages are communicated regularly keeping everyone aware of key information and progress updates.
