Who Are We?

Dragonhead Consultancy Ltd was founded in 2007 and specialise in providing professional expertise built on the ethos of delivering the right solution for the customer, which has allowed DHC to enjoy repeat business with its clients.

We strive to build solutions, teams, processes and procedures which are scalable, manageable and meet our Client’s needs, and will continue delivering long after the initial project has been completed; resulting in long-lasting fruitful relationships between us and our Clients.

Steve, our MD, is passionate about the provision of a first class service to our clients. He has created a philosophy of providing Dragonhead Consultancy clients with experienced professionals who consistently and constantly deliver adding value to our client’s needs.

This philosophy goes beyond the workplace and as an organisation we support our employees in helping both the communities in which we work and live, whether that be as a volunteer within a professional body, or as a School Governor. See below for how Dragonhead and our great team are working to support our communities.

Volunteer for APM

As a leading modern professional body, APM relies on the expertise and commitment of its volunteer community for the development and promotion of project, programme and portfolio management. Volunteers within the Branches organise events that offer opportunities for members to network, make connections and learn about the latest developments helping them with their Continuing Professional Development (CPD). DHC are a proud to have a valued member of our team representing us as an APM volunteer, being actively involved with their local Branch Committee and previously at national level. Engaging future project professionals is a vital activity in ensuring that the APM vision of a world where all projects succeed is achieved. APM currently works with STEMNET to facilitate this engagement.

Inspiring Youngsters

STEMNET (the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Network) creates opportunities to inspire young people in the fields of STEM. STEM Ambassadors contribute to their local community and at the same time boost their own professional skills, experience and confidence. DHC are proud to have a member of our team engaged as a STEM Ambassador. We support them to volunteer their time, enthusiasm and commitment to encourage young people to enjoy STEM subjects. This is achieved through explaining current applications of STEM in industry and helping to open doors to a world of opportunities and possibilities which come from pursuing STEM subjects and careers.

Dukinfield Town AFC

Last season was a difficult year for the team with many of the players studying for exams as well as beginning their careers. This meant that there were times when the manager had to struggle through matches understrength. Despite these challenges they still managed to finish 4th out of 11 in the league and had a good showing in the cup competitions.

Aside from the football the team put their subscriptions to good use, raising almost £350 for Willow Wood who provide hospice care for Local people in Ashton-under-Lyne.

To try and address the issues with player availability the manager Gary spoke to the players and has formed an open age team for the 2016 / 17 season which has resulted in higher player numbers for the season with 20 registered.

Coming towards the end of the season the team are doing well, sitting 6th in the Tameside Sports Tours International Division 3 having 32 points with a few games in hand over the teams above and at the time of writing they are still in the cup competition.
